Job Description
The role of the Quality & Safety department is to support the Trust with managing risks and incidents, caring for patient experience, making improvement to services through clinical audit and managing various Trust assurance and effectiveness meetings.
The Administration Hub provides high quality support to the unit, Trust Committee meetings and Senior Management. The Quality & Safety Unit is based at Park View Offices, Royal Blackburn Hospital.
Main duties: To undertake a comprehensive range of administrative duties to support the effective operation of the Trust’s Quality and Safety Unit (QSU) To administer a range of committee meetings ensuring the circulation of agendas and supporting papers in a timely manner and the production of accurate minutes To manage the QSU senior managers diaries To arrange meetings including the booking of rooms and catering where appropriate To produce reports and other documents as requested using Microsoft Office applications ie Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint To maintain effective communication skills that are required to converse with others as and when necessary using a range of techniques i.e. email, telephone, written, MS Teams, etc and always ensuring a high level of confidentiality is maintained To deal with enquiries via telephone and in writing which may be of a confidential nature We are looking for a person who is confidence in their work and working environment, who is polite and calm, and are able to work on their own initiative.
