About the role: The successful applicant will be working within our Quality Assurance Improvement Team (QAIT). The Business Support Officer is a vital part of a team who implement the quality assurance framework for all adult social care services within the Devon County Council area, supporting both in house and external providers to flourish and grow, which is a critical priority for the Council. Reporting to the QAIT Manager, this role is an exciting and challenging key support post. Day to day tasks include: - Actively promoting and facilitating the continuous improvement of quality and performance; - Supporting QAIT in all administration functions including organising meetings, booking rooms, sending invites and agendas; - Attending meetings to take notes / minutes and update all relevant documentation such as action plans; - Managing QAIT generic emails, actioning and signposting as appropriate; - Progress chasing Project Managers and Theme Leads to ensure progress remains on track; - Providing reports to support the development and production of qualitative and quantitative data within their locality to inform risk profiling, service prioritisation and reporting / analysis, linking with colleagues in Social Care Commissioning in relating to commissioning strategies, service planning and contract monitoring; - Support the QAIT in their role of maximising safety and minimising risk through continuous quality; - Support to the QAIT Managers and Seniors; - Support the use of technology.
