Job Description
This role will be responsible for monitoring compliance against the contract KPIs and training matrix to ensure training targets are met, as well as continually reviewing and recommending ways of working that remain up to date, compliant and that offers innovative, cost effective learning solutions to a dispersed workforce. Responsibilities will include: Coordinating required training for new starters, ensuring individual training profiles are uploaded and maintained on the HMCTS Security Academy and new starters are enrolled onto the relevant academy and external courses. Liaising with the recruiting manager to ensure contract inductions are implemented and completed Supporting, tracking and monitoring employees recruited into “trainee” roles, ensuring relevant training courses are scheduled and details are shared with the employees, tracking completion of the course and setting reminders for course deadlines and qualification expiry dates Monitoring course completion, creating escalations for non-compliance, tracking and monitoring training compliance and creating reminders for scheduled courses to be completed. In addition to setting up reminders for refresher training to be completed where appropriate (for expired courses e.g. first aid, fire warden). Generating monthly reports for KPI compliance and contract performance Liaising with the relevant stakeholders to track and monitor training across the contract Supporting the HR & Training Manager with the delivery of the training strategy for the contract, communicating the training calendar to the relevant managers, creating course specification information for face to face training days, review and update where required “role gradings” for the contract training plan Supporting with the coordination of training sessions, scheduling course dates and locations (including meeting space), communicating dates and ensuring delegates are scheduled onto the courses, course materials prepared and printed, and refreshments ordered where required Where required adapting online training information into soft copy for employees in remote locations, innovation on course delivery options for remote workers Collating attendance sheets and feedback forms for all training courses completed across the contract. Implementing and initiating post course evaluation information. Monitoring the feedback information for improvement initiatives and business information Issuing monthly toolbox talk materials to the business as identified in the training plan, tracking and collating completion data for monthly KPI reporting Maintaining the employee data for the Academy system and amending where necessary Maintaining the training matrix, updating with newly formed roles across the contract, updating with new/relevant training courses available in the business, ensuring the matrix remains current with the L&D versions/formats Actively monitoring training compliance per region Escalating non-compliance and KPI failures Distributing, collating and monitoring pre and post personal and course evaluation forms
Experience required: Education/Qualifications A recognised training qualification is preferable (e.g. Level 3 PTLLS or CIPD) or be prepared to work towards Working experience/Personal attributes Experience of working in a fast-paced “hands on” environment, preferably from a Learning and Development role Previous experience in training co-ordination and delivery |
