Essential Qualifications: English Language at GCSE Grade C or above, or Functional key skill at level 2 in Literacy (or equivalent)) Mathematics at GCSE Grade C or above, or Functional key Skill Application at level 2 in Numeracy (or equivalent)) Typing or Word Processing qualification at RSA II (or an equivalent) NVQ in Business Administration at level 2 or above (or equivalent) Shorthand or equivalent Essential Experience: Demonstrable experience of undertaking a wide range of administrative and secretarial work involving computerised systems Demonstrate an excellent working knowledge of windows based computer systems and be capable of using all Microsoft Office applications. Demonstrable experience of taking minutes and typing minutes from own or others notes. Demonstrable experience of providing effective diary management Essential Attributes: Demonstrate advanced keyboard skills Demonstrate ability to pay good attention to detail, reliably check and record data,attributesg qualifications and identify anomalies and be able to self-check completed work, Demonstrate excellent written/verbal/listening communication skills Demonstrate a proactive approach to work. Demonstrate excellent organisational / time management skills and be able work under pressure to meet deadlines. We are looking for a dynamic, results driven individual with proven experience of delivering high-level secretarial support to the Associate Directors in the Nursing, Patient Safety and Quality Service
Applicants must be self-motivated, organised and be able to deal with varied and complex matters in an efficient and effective manner, producing high quality work within agreed timescales.
The successful applicant will be required to work within the Nursing, Patient Safety and Quality Admin Office, Nursing, Patient Safety and Quality Director providing high quality administrative and secretarial services to Assistant Directors and their associated staff as and when required. |
